This program is designed for youth ages 16 to 30 in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area who are ready to launch or grow a business, even with zero startup capital. Whether you’re just starting out or scaling an idea, this course will give you the tools, confidence, mentorship and funding access to succeed.
Your fee covers six live sessions over two weeks, mentorship from global facilitators, an in person graduation ceremony, Certificate of Completion, a Boma branded kit, prize giving of up to $2,000, access to more grant funding and membership in the Boma Academy Fellowship, which includes monthly resources and cash assistance giveaways. Yes, anyone around the world can participate in the learning sessions because it’s virtual. However, graduation and prize giving ceremony is in person.
After completing the two-week program, participants can pitch their business ideas live on Zoom in a 2-minute presentation. You’ll be judged on clarity, market potential, innovation, personal story, and feasibility. Top 3 winners receive $500, $300, and $200, along with exclusive perks like branding support, mentorship, and media features.
